Our client has an exciting role for a Digital Marketing Specialist to be responsible for planning, implementing, co-developing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company’s brand, products and services, both digitally and hard copy if required.
The successful incumbent will hold a tertiary qualification in digital marketing or related courses and have at 6 years’ experience in a similar position.

**Position details**:
Reports to: Chief Executive
Primary purpose
Developing, managing, and designing layouts of communications such as company presentations, newsletters, dealer bulletin and event support.
Interfacing with marketing communications functions, as well as PR, events, and product marketing team.
Coordinating ongoing management of digital touch points, including local sites (home pages and top-level sections), social networking landing pages, and mobile.
Management of digital assets such as asset bank, lead management system, Google AdWords, Google my business, social media platforms and building reports.
Updating and maintaining the company website, social media, and content creation.
Create continual communications / support to our branches and various divisions.
Developing technologies to support business goals and present recommendations to the EXCO team.
Assist with administration activities.
Assist with organising other activities such as planning for events and coordinating efforts and follow-ups when required.
Proven record of an effective campaign that grows our brand awareness, generates more demand so that we can convert on that increase demand i.e., web traffic leads, returning visitors, lead conversion rates and online conversion rate.

**Job Qualification & Experience**:
Minimum Qualification
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in digital marketing or related courses.
Qualifications in IT and specifically website development and design are an advantage.

Minimum Experience
6-8 years’ experience in a similar position

Competencies
Proven years of marketing automation experience.
Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production.
Proven experience with delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns.
Experience with managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing.
Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyse and interpret data.
Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business.
Strong management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience with delivering digital campaigns for mainstream products and services.
Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, FrameMaker, Dreamweaver, HTML, HTML 5, CSS
Proven record of working well with other departments within the business.
Proven record of solutions that resolve issues within the business.
