The project coordinator will coordinate the schedule, budget, issues and risks of the project. It’s their job to make sure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page. Plays a critical role in supporting and coordinating plumbing projects. A solid understanding of plumbing systems. Work closely with the project team to ensure seamless project execution, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to quality standards. Responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget, and details of a given task are well organized. Communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan. Organize reporting, plan meetings and provide updates to program manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Assist in documenting project milestones, deliverables, and changes.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to identify material and labour requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for plumbing materials and services.
- Prepare and submit detailed cost breakdowns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Support the project team in managing project budgets and tracking expenses.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including cost forecasts, budget variances, and cash flow projections.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Assist in analyzing project financial performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Makes sure all aspects of the project run smoothly and efficiently.
- Work with various members of the project team and the client to develop a timeline, create schedules, and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time.
- Responsible for coordinating, developing project strategies and attending meetings.
- Co-ordinating multiple aspects of a project in a fast-paced and challenging work environment, communicating all the issues and risks of the project.
- Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
- Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
- Support project managers and team members to help them complete project tasks
- Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
- Set goals and objectives by delegating and organizing work for the Project Administrator.
- Support team members when implementing risk management strategies.
- Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
- Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and bookkeeping.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on relationship building, understanding business requirements, and management of business expectations.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project stakeholders.
- Exercise telephone etiquette.
- Maintain frequent and detailed communication with all members of the team to ensure clarity at all times
- Execute the project lessons learned process to maximize learning from all projects during and after the execution, carrying out an internal review with the delivery team and actively seeking feedback from the customer; implement any corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage customer/partner relationships from project authorisation and initiation through to project closure ensuring regular communication and reporting of project progress versus the delivery contract.
