We have an exciting new opportunity for energetic individuals with a passion for the customer service and insurance field to join our client’s team in Bellville.
The successful incumbent of this position will be responsible for growing and developing the business’ insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The incumbent of this position will be responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. The individual will sell Personal lines and Commercial lines
- Identify client needs and offer insurance coverage tailored to their specific requirements
- Obtain quotations from a range of insurance providers
- All administration and claims with regards to own clients incurred
- Conduct face-to-face discussions with clients to review and discuss insurance quotations
- Provide clients with accurate and comprehensive advice regarding their insurance needs
- Maintain a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities to consistently achieve monthly targets.
- NO COLD CALLING will be done in the business, leads/new prospects will be provided
**Requirements**:
- RE5 qualification
- Relevant NQF level 4/5 qualification in personal line & commercial short-term insurance (minimum of 120 credits)
- Class of business certificates for personal and commercial lines
- Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle
- Communication (verbal and written) in English
- Experience with quoting existing and new clients and complete new business
- Experience with renewal of policies and handling claims
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Balance team and individual responsibility and provide and accept feedback
- Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm and passion for the insurance industry
