Sports Coordinator

The Division for Student Development and Support (SDS) plays a leading role in creating a holistic, enabling environment and excellent opportunities for students to develop to their full potential as active scholars and responsive citizens in South Africa.

**Minimum Requirements**
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree (in Sports Science, HKE or equivalent) plus 3 years’ relevant experience **OR** a National diploma (in Sports Management) plus 5 years’ relevant experience
- Worked previously within an education/service orientated environment in sport.
- Experience in the administration and organisation in sport at various levels.
- Previous administration experience within an electronic environment.
- Have had a high level of interaction with students.
- Previous experience in playing sport and a demonstrated ongoing interest in sport.
- A valid code 08 driver’s license (with more than 2 years accident free driving experience)

The following would be considered advantageous
- A valid PDP
- Previous work experience with a university football team and knowledge of football governance structures within South Africa
