**CORE DESCRIPTION**: To handle the day-to-day management of all storage facilities. **MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Responsible for the lockup procedures of offices and warehouse. - Ensure the timeous completion of timesheets and approval by the Depot Manager. - Planning of daily tasks and instructions to the general staff - Responsible for general staff management - Responsible for the submission and follow up of product sampels to the laboratory - Responsible for reconciliation of monthly fleet utilization and expenditure - Ensure daily inspections is done on all moving equipment including forklifts - Ensure that the emergency equipment is regularly checked and maintained - Responsible for loading trucks, issue of orders - Responsible for housekeeping of all storage areas. - Driving forklift to load supplies onto the trucks, including after hours. - Responsible for inventory taking, may occur after hours. - Responsible for checking the quality of all products in the stores. - Keep inventory records (import and check out) on the computer. - Weekly reporting of stock on hand. - Responsible for accounting of all product returns. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**: - Grade 12 with at least 5 years relevant experience. - Qualification in Stores & Warehousing would be an advantage. - Sense of order, cleanliness, and accurate record keeping. - Training in “Storage & Distribution" would be beneficial. - Productivity & deadline driven. - Food Safety System experience is essential. **SKILLS**: - Good communication and strong management skills - Problem solving skills - Numeracy - Computer Literacy - MS Office - Good concentration and attention span - Ability to function in team context and independently
