**Job Advert Summary**:
**Purpose of the position**:
The incumbent will be expected to conduct facility-based and outreach health programmes, which will involve promoting the benefits of HIV testing and promoting health seeking behaviour in adult men,adolescents and youth including the uptake of HIV prevention services and linkage to care.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 certificate
- Training on HIV/AIDS or experience in mobilising patients for healthcare services
- Knowledge of benefits of knowing HIV status/HIV prevention will be an advantage
- Ability to communicate in English or isiXhosa
- Clear criminal record

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure client mobilisation targets are met and promote the health benefits of HIV testing, promote health seeking behaviour in adolescents, youth and adult males
- Highlight the HIV testing and counselling services, health services for adolescent youth and adult males available at the allocated facility
- Must have knowledge of the benefits of HIV testing, and of HIV prevention and services for adult males at allocated facilities
- Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities
- Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met and provide appropriate means of resolution
- Ensure high level of customer centricity in all dealings with both internal and external customers
- Ensure that all interactions are dealt with in a professional manner
- Compile weekly and monthly reports and maintain accurate records of all relevant information
