**Job Purpose**:
Establishing and managing business performance targets, and sales, profits, costs, staffing levels and whilst governing controls and procedures to adhere and achieve, across CMM, Mirren and CDG.

Manage all finance related activities of Unit (like budgeting, reporting, accounting, statutory, etc.) in order to ensure smooth business functioning and adherence to compliances & to partner with site leadership team in fulfilling operational and strategic agenda.

**Accountabilities 1**:
**Standardisation of closing calendar and Evaluation of financials for subsidiaries**
- Prepare the closing schedule well in advance for circulation
- Plan activities and account provisions based on closing schedule through regular and early follow up of activities.
- Monitor adherence to timelines by designing standard formats to Save/optimise time
- Review Blackline tasks, reconciliations dashboards and ensure adherence to the same
- Design templates and drive Blackline compliance.
- Review subsidiaries financials, analytics, accounting policies and standards compliances

**Accountabilities 2**:
**Hygiene / Governance / Compliance Aspect**
- Ensure timely closure of books, ensuring completeness before submission of TB
- Review monthly expenditure, accruals / provision to ensure any major variance is identified and reviewed / corrected before closure of books
- Balance sheet review to identify and action on aged items
- Review transfer pricing to ensure targeted profitability of the site
- Ensure Hygiene of the overall books
- Implementation / Enforcement of DoA for expenses / payments
- Monitoring various statutory compliances like TDS, Service Tax, VAT including reconciliation, filing of returns, Tax audits/assessments etc
- Responsible for timely completion of all Statutory, internal and other special audits by providing updated records, SOPs, clarifications/explanations etc. to audit queries
- Responsible for BEE spend in line with Group strategy and tracking to ensure maximum Level is obtained each year

**Accountabilities 3, 4 and 5**:
**Inventory Management**
- Ensure compliance with SAP process of Goods, receipt / Goods issue / consumption posting etc at all the manufacturing sites / warehouses
- Review of GR/IR to ensure no aged items
- Regular review of inventory to minimise CoPE losses
- Minimise internal audit observations by implementing CAPA

**Product Costing**
- Review of product costing to ensure BOM and Recipe are current and updated
- Monthly review of Standard vs actual cost to identify major reasons for variances
- Review SOP / Product costing process and identify changes / corrections / improvement required
- Ensure on-time and accurate Material Cost reconciliation

**Capex Control**
- Work with site head to develop capex plan as part of budgeting process
- Review proposed capex and seek approval based on approved DoA / process
- Track capex spend based on approved projects
- Ensure regular review of CWIP and timely capitalisation of projects
- Maintain Fixed Asset records and periodic reconciliation of physical with register
- Capex evaluation, Capitalisation and Post implementation review

**Accountabilities 6, 7 and 8**:
**Budget / Performance management**
- Partner with site head / manufacturing head to develop budgets
- Review performance of site vs Budget / Stretch targets
- Ensure timely reporting of the monthly financials for review with local / regional / global management
- Identify / flag any major deviations in site performance vs budget / operational plan

**Working Capital Management**
- Develop / review cash flow and track performance
- Regular review of inventory / receivables to ensure no losses on account of change in business velocity
- Accruals / provision review

**IT Automation**
- Identify activities / areas where automation can help bringing efficiency and reduce errors
- Work with IT team to drive automation initiatives
- Maintain system hygiene

**Accountabilities 9 and 10**:
**Talent management**
- Build high performing team by recruiting right talent / repurposing existing talent
- Identify skills gap and work with HR to develop training program

**Process Improvement**
- Work with Global Manufacturing finance team to learn best practices
- Identify best practices that can be implemented to build efficiencies or improve processes
- Build local connect to bring improvements in sync with local culture / ethos

**Education Qualification**:

- Chartered Accountant / MBA (Finance)
- National Diploma in Financial Information systems
- Bachelor of Accounting Science Bcompt

**Relevant Work Experience**:

- 10+ years’ in Senior Finance Role, Manufacturing Finance experience preferred
- Years in finance with more than 6 years in senior role
- Digital skills
