**The position would suit someone who is looking for part-time employment and has a sound background in Mathematics education. Organisational and communication skills are essential in order to manage tutoring content and maintain standards as well as provide guidance on curriculum priorities. The Math’s Mentor would be required to review the Math’s Tutor’s lessons on site, then critique, coach and report on these interactions. Knowledge of the CAPS curriculum is essential as well as awareness of the content.**
**This role would ideally suit someone who is already employed on a part-time basis or is retired as the tutorial sessions would be provided as an after-school activity for Grade 8 and above and any supervision of Tutors would be during the afternoon or occasionally on a Saturday.**
