Cape Town, South Africa CA Financial Appointments Full time

An exceptionally exciting and senior level opportunity exists for a senior Credit Analyst to join a leading commodities company in South Africa. To succeed in this role, our client is looking to identify a finance professional with strong business acumen, comfortable working with and assessing customer financials and fully conversant with IFRS standards and other regulatory standards relating to Credit functions.**Responsibilities**:

- Risk assessment of new and existing customers
- Provide outcome and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and decision makers
- Liaise with respective stakeholders
- Determine appropriate credit lines and security requirement
- Monitor account exposures proactively and take appropriate action
- Work closely with customer, Account Manager, and other stakeholders in resolving payment disputes, past dues, etc
- Provide Business Unit management with monthly report of credit metrics and high risk Accounts
- Participate in Business Unit team and Credit Committee meetings

**Requirements**:
- CA(SA) / CFA / equivalent qualification-
- CA(SA) with 3-5 years post articles experience or CFA with 6 - 9 years’ experience
