Steel product manufacturer and supplier seeking hands on, proactive, team player with strong organizational, excellent communication, problem solving, leadership and project management skills.
- Engage with managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
- Monitor production to achieve deadlines and continuously improve, resolving issues that arise
- Ensure standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize capabilities
- Provide guidance and support where needed
- Ensures fixed assets are preserved
- Ensure health, safety and environmental systems are in place and adhered to
- Monitor and ensure compliance with ISO Quality processes
- Lead and manage projects - commissioning of new equipment and improvements to plant property
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively implement corrective actions
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Act as a change agent in building efficiency into operations processes that will drive yearly productivity improvements

**Qualification / Skills / Knowledge Required**
- Tertiary qualification (Technical preferred)
- Previous production management experience within the Manufacturing Industry, ideally Steel industry
- Project Management experience
- Customer and business orientated
- Outstanding communication ability
- Strong organizational and leaderships skills

**Salary**: R60,000.00 - R65,000.00 per month
