Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties - both for commercial and home garden planting. The following position has become available for an Admin Assistant, based in Kempton Park. This role will primarily focus on the administrative duties in the Warehouse.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain and organize and accurate and effective filing system and assist with administrative requests from management.
- Receives all incoming calls, deals with them professionally and promptly and ensures that messages are distributed and tended to as speedily as possible.
- Generate purchase requisitions in conjunction with Supervisor, forward to Factory Manager for authorisation.
- Keep Attendance register accurately updated daily.
- Ensure that all Job Cards are generated / New Seed Deliveries / Consumables / Inter Depot Transfers are action / process on a daily basis.
- Report all discrepancies to your superior.
- Complete administration pertaining to stock taking.
- Registration of samples for Starke Ayres Laboratory
- Submits inter depot transfers of job cards.
- General Communication, Feedback and Follow up.
- Execution and or prioritizing of instruction from Management.
- Overall accuracy of Data Capturing on various Systems
- Maintains a watchful eye in the office environment, ensuring that no confidential documents are left unattended.
- Finalization of international packing lists
- Processing and consolidation of international orders

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) (Essential).
- 2 to 4 years + experience in administrative duties
- Have own reliable transport and a valid drivers license
- Previously worked in a warehouse environment
