**Focus, Scope, & Impact**:

- Lead The Coca-Cola Company and the Coca-Cola Africa System’s sustainability strategy and its execution in Africa**.**:

- Work as part of the networked team coordinating PACS, Technical, Marketing and Operations, Commercial, Franchises, etc. to craft a holistic and integrated sustainability strategy is aligned with local implementation.
- Influence our bottling partners to own the sustainability agenda in their markets, invest their share of resources and drive program execution.
- Drive sustainability execution and be accountable for results across the franchises in the Africa Operating Unit.
- Be accountable for the collation, validation and reporting of the Africa Operating Unit’s sustainability performance in line with the company’s global as well as the Africa Operating Unit’s compliance and reporting requirements and Coca-Cola Foundation giving requirements
- Implement - in partnership with networked team - global ESG-related priorities and contribute to ESG policy and commercialization initiatives.

**KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS**

**Experience**

At least 10 years’ experience preferably in any or a combination of the following areas:

- Packaging and supply chain
- Public affairs and stakeholder management
- Project management
- NGO and development sector
- Marketing and communication
- Bottling/commercial operations
- Commercialization

Working understanding across multi-cultural, matrixed organization; Good stakeholder network; Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate complex issues to drive tangible business actions.

**Work Focus**

Drive effective implementation of The Coca - Cola Company’s global sustainability strategy working with PACS, Technical, Marketing and Operations Leads where relevant.

Manage the complexity of multi-stakeholder collaborations, including fostering cooperation among competitors within the industry coalitions.

**Communication Focus**

Drive Cross-functional system collaboration: engage, influence and drive alignment with Africa Operating Unit’s multiple bottling partners as well as within the company’s franchises and across the system on strategic and operational issues relating to the sustainability priorities.

Engage external stakeholders: work with the System Public Affairs Communication teams to build relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders to proffer solutions to address challenges across the sustainability priority areas including World Without Waste, Water, Climate, Agricultural Sourcing, Human Rights, Sugar Reduction.
