**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**To ensure that**:
QA SOP’s are followed with little supervision.

Management of the customer returns and repacking process at Distribution Centre.

Coordination and approval of market returns received back into the logistics channel.

Enforcement of company good manufacturing practice.

Inspects and releases quarantined stock or rejects.

File and maintain GMP records as per company requirements.

Ensuring that all products conform to set standards and specifications before releasing to customers.

Customer complaints investigation and root cause analysis.

Trending of monthly customer returns.

Conduct monthly internal audits (PRPs) on site.

Adhere to food safety requirements (FSSC 22000, AIB).

Online training of staff on food safety/ quality requirements.

Ongoing management of the non-conforming stock in the cage and planning for rework.

Management and accountability of waste as generated by the various processes during rework.

Conduct stock transfers and transactions relating to rework on SAP.

Liaising with Quality Coordinators both at shoreline and main plant with stock transfers.

Conduct investigations for product returns and non-conforming stock received internally.

Inspecting stock received.

Manage damage cage and conduct monthly stock taking.

Ensure that the company’s rework is managed by conducting effective sorting and re-packing process.

Quality inspections of the bunkers at the Distribution Centre and enforcement of food safety.

**QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES**:
**Qualifications**:
Minimum National Technical Diploma in quality, operations or Biotechnology

**Experience**:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality controller role, Food Safety and FMCG environment will be advantageous

Computer literate, SAP literacy advantageous, Good interpersonal skills / builds good relationship

**Competencies**:
Ability to work under pressure

Good verbal and communication skills

Good self - management principles

Ability to adapt to change effectively

Lives the values of the organisation

Good numerical ability
