**Your mission**:

- Provide collaborative interface between Mondi Forests Markets (Richards Bay Mill) and supply (Forests & Procurement)
- Supply chain planning for the Mondi Forests Markets (Richards Bay Mill), incl. suppliers, transport modes and volumes, pulp wood and biomass commodities, impacts of stock movement on supply.
- Manage the rail supply of timber into the Forests Markets (Richards Bay Mill)
- Manage timber quality control and monitoring in line with mill specifications.
- Manage Forestry Steward Certification (FSC) and Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Chain of Custody and maintain Multisite certification system maintenance
- Ensure European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance
- Responsible for fibre supply administration, operational and financial monitoring and reporting
- Maintain Corporate governance compliance within the department in line with Mondi framework
- Assist Forests operations Zululand with Fibre trading as required from time to time
- Participate in relevant projects / leadership when required

**Your profile**:

- BTech or BSc in Forestry
- A degree in Logistics will be advantageous
- 5 years in a Forestry Harvesting and Transport role or a Logistics role
- Experience in Forestry Chain of custody certification (FSC, PEFC) would be advantageous
- Valid South African Driver’s License
