Administrator: Dispute Management

The Public Health and Social Development Sectoral Bargaining Council (PHSDSBC), promotes labour peace and collective bargaining in the public health and social development sector. We seek to appoint individuals who are conversant with the policy and legislative framework that governs the Public Service Labour Relations arena with particular reference to the health and social development sector.
**Purpose of the post**:To render efficient and effective dispute management by ensuring adherence to prescribed turnaround times and compliance to norms and standards in a prompt and expeditious manner.
**Reporting line**:The position reports to the Manager: Dispute Management.
**Key Performance Areas**:
1.To ensuring 100% compliance with the prescribed turnaround times, norms and standards on Labour Court functions.
2.To ensure that all panellists and interpreters claims are submitted monthly.
3. Accruals for panellists and interpreters are submitted to Corporate services monthly.
5. To conduct verifications in the case files in line with the norms and standards.
6. To ensure that Council has no backlog on all claims and Labour Court requests.
7. To manage development and timeous submission of weekly schedules, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
8. Coordination of bi-weekly staff meetings.
9. To assist in the coordination of Dispute Management Committee meetings.
10. To manage the offsite file storage and liaise with courier services.
**Qualification**:
An appropriate National Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in labour relations/ Labour Law (NQF6/7).
**Experience**:
Relevant and proven experience in administration of dispute resolution cases environment, of at least one (1) year.
**The below experience/understanding will be an added advantage**:
- Public service environment,
Bargaining Council and/or CCMA
- Case Management System (CMS) or any similar system
- Case Management Principles and Procedures
**Remuneration**:Level 05 Notch 01 at R183 083 - Total exclusive of benefits Benefits;
**Benefits**:Provident Fund; Medical Aid; Housing Allowance and 13th Cheque.
**Duration**:Permanent
