**Overview**:
To provide an administrative and data collection service on environmental issues to the BME Production & Used Oil management team, in collaboration with all BME sites. The position is based at the Dryden plant in Delmas.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
**Experience**:

- 2 years demonstrated experience in providing on time reporting and value adding administrative and data collection support on risk, safety, health, quality and environment.
- 1 year demonstrated experience in AX administration / Isometrics
**Duties**:

- To monitor and track implementation of environmental legislation at all BME sites and verify closed-off actions
- To track and monitor usage of diesel and other fuel sources
- To conduct site audits on diesel inventory
- To liaise with spillage response service providers
- To track costs related to environmental incidents
- To support with environmental investigations
- To collate data for carbon footprint updates to group SHERQ
- To coordinate all activities for the ISO 14001 audit including document control
- To monitor and provide feedback on CSI projects at BME sites in collaboration with HR
**Job Competencies**:

- Knowledge of SHE best practice principles and standards
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- The ability conduct compliance audits
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety
- Excellent interpersonal skills required, with the ability to liaise diplomatically and maintain solid business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
