Duties/PligtePerforming real time data quality checks of informed consent forms and paper and/or electronic source documents across all research studies;-
- Data query logging, following up and managing query resolutions for all IRG clinical studies;-
- Data capturing;-
- Coordinating the preparation and maintenance of participant hard copy documents and files for all IRG clinical studies;-
- Maintaining monthly recruitment tallies for all IRG clinical studies;-
- Maintaining enrollment logs for all IRG clinical studies;-
- Staff training in data capturing and data verification methods;-
- Supervising junior data staff;-
- Preparing for and providing assistance during monitoring visits.Job Requirements/Pos VereistesA tertiary degree in the field of science or social studies;-
- Training in quality control and data verification;-
- Evidence of training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP);-
- At least five years' experience in the research environment, of which two years are as Quality Control Officer;-
- The ability to solve problems independently and effectively;-
- Excellent attention to detail, consistency, and diligence;-
- Computer literacy (MS Outlook, Word and Excel);-
- Proven experience with electronic database(s);-
- The necessary confidence to communicate errors and request resolutions;-
- Experience in conducting data verification for research and supervision of data capturing;-
- Integrity and work ethic to ensure confidentiality and data integrity.Recommendation/AanbevelingExcellent communication skills;-
- The ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently;-
- Sound interpersonal skills.
