**Role Description**

The Accounting Associate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of client bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant reporting standards. This entry-level position requires foundational accounting knowledge, and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual eager to learn and progress within our organization.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by meticulously entering and verifying a wide range of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, receipts, and general ledger entries.
- Processing financial transactions in accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
- Capturing financial transactions from source documentation.
- Maintaining fixed asset registers.
- Reconciling various bank and ledger accounts for Trusts, Individuals, Corporates, Creditors, and Debtors.
- Acquiring and allocating invoices to receipts, payments, and other financial transactions electronically and/or physically.
- Generating standard monthly system reports.
- The role will provide hands-on experience in CIPC, VAT, income tax, and payroll processes.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related education.
