**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have a Tertiary Qualification in Agriculture
- Minimum 4 years sales experience will be required
- Previous experience in vegetable crops would be ideal
- Experience in seed would be preferred
- Above-average communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, including farmers, Product Specialists and Breeders will be required
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel in the assigned area
- Developing market share.
- Contributing to sales planning and budgets.
- Assisting with the arrangement of farmers days and other marketing/promotional activities.
- Co-ordinating product trials within the region.
- Collecting and reporting up-to-date market information.
- Maintaining proficiency of sales skills and product knowledge.
- Operating within the budgeted OPEX.
- Ensuring the accurate and timeous completion of sales administration.
- Delivering product to clients, when necessary.
- Coordinating all commercial activities within the region.
- Managing customer accounts
- Providing technical assistance to clients where possible.
