**Spinx Property Maintenance - Johannesburg (Central & Greater Gauteng)**
Join our fast-growing Gauteng division as a hands-on _Senior Technician / Site Supervisor_ specialising in **industrial & commercial roller shutters** and **aluminium shop-fronts, doors and windows**.

Key responsibilities
- Lead installation and reactive-maintenance crews on roller shutters, high-speed doors, aluminium shop-fronts and frameless stacking systems
- Set out, fabricate (on-site adjustments) and glaze aluminium profiles to AAAMSA standards
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and structural faults; recommend cost-effective repairs
- Schedule labour, liaise with suppliers and ensure projects are delivered on deadline and within budget
- Enforce all SHEQ procedures, toolbox talks and permit-to-work requirements
- Provide technical input for tenders and variation orders; coach apprentices

Minimum requirements
- Trade Test (Aluminium Fabricator / Fitter) **or** recognised Door & Shutter qualification
- Extensive experience (7 + years) installing & repairing roller shutters **and** aluminium façades
- Supervisory track record managing multi-disciplinary crews and subcontractors
- Competent in MIG/TIG welding of aluminium and light-steel frames
- Code 8 licence, good computer literacy for job-card & stock-control apps
- Able to travel throughout Gauteng & neighbouring provinces when required

- SAIW welding certificate
- Fall-arrest & scaffold inspector ticket
- Experience integrating glass & aluminium systems with access-control hardware
