We are looking for a **TECHNICAL, ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL, BUYER** in the East Rand. Before you hit the APPLY button, please read the requirements below

This is a Heavy Engineering and Precision Manufacturing environment and being a Procurement officer wont land you an interview

You MUST have previous experience as a BUYER in a Workshop
- Engineering
- Machine Tool Shop environment

You must be able to buy materials from drawings and schematics. If you are used to 'Buying off the shelf, this is not the position for you.

You must be able to calculate, identify and source the correct steel from Technical Schematics.

You must know how the process works from buying the raw material to the manufacturing of the end product.

You must have a working knowledge and experience of Machine tools for Lathes

Previous experience in an Engineering shop or as a CNC machine operator will be beneficial.

If you were a Draughtsman it would also help your chances for an interview.

Market related salary that is also negotiable
