**SENIOR PLANNER FOR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY- REPUBLIC OF IRELAND**

Our Client is a Construction company based in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. The Senior Planner shall own and manage the project control function within the organization reporting directly to a nominated Director and will support Project Managers across the organization in delivering a project controls service. You will be required to visit projects sites in Cork and Galway. Highly competitive salary.

DUTIES:

- Build project schedules encompassing full project life cycle, scope milestones and timelines, using critical plan methodology.
- Ensure clear responsibility and ownership for all project outcomes is defined via the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology
- Negotiate and mediate timelines and project interdependencies between key partners
- Review external schedules to ensure that they are compiled using scheduling best practices.
- Develop, Maintain and update project controls systems and procedures on an ongoing basis
- Ownership of Project controls inputs to Project Execution Plans (PEP)
- Leading development and analysis of project schedules, CPM software implementation, time impact and delay analysis, and review of periodic schedule updates.
- Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis. Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.

EXPEREINCE AND QUALIFICATIONS AND CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Degree in project management, engineering or construction.
- Have grown your planning and scheduling skills over 5 to 10 years.
- Working experience using Primavera P6 or similar planning software
- Experience of CPM software, specifically MS Project and Asta PowerProject
- Can demonstrate gravitas and experience when dealing with client, stakeholders, and the project teem
- Very good written and oral communications skills, with the ability to prepare and present information in a suitable format for diverse audience.
