**SPECIFICATION**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Generate new business and manage existing clients and their portfolios
- Converting internal leads into written business
- Understand the provisions of each policy and communicate this information to the customer
- Act as liaison between insurers and clients
- Responsible for all administrative and organisational activities surrounding the sales and quoting processes
- Uphold and maintain record keeping processes and meet the departmental minimum operating standards
- Responsible for dealing with and resolving client queries
- Providing quality service and solutions to all Stakeholders
- Creating marketing initiatives together with the Marketing Department to attract new clients

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 passed in school or higher
- Knowledge of short-term insurance
- Connection to the sport horse/bloodstock/game/livestock/art community will be advantageous
- Excellent marketing and sales skills (including cold calling)
- Good personal network and ability to actively generate leads
- Willingness to obtain RE Level 5 as well as any other necessary insurance qualifications is a requirement
- Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Asana, Salesforce, and Flexi experience advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify opportunities and solve problems timeously
- Must be able to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
