**About the department**

Clinical trials is part of the Clinical, Medical, Regulatory & Quality (CMRQ) department. We are a large team of enthusiastic colleagues in positions as Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Trial Managers, Clinical Research Associate and Clinical Trial Administrator all responsible for the set-up and execution of phase 1-4 studies within Novo Nordisk’s portfolios targeting diabetes, haemophilia, growth hormone deficiency and obesity therapies.

**The job**

Novo Nordisk South Africa is looking for a temporary Clinical trial Administrator, **for a period of 2 years** to work in our main office in Johannesburg. The position is reporting to the Clinical Trial Manager within the CMRQ Department.

This role provides support to the study team and maintains key information in various systems in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, MoH regulations and Novo Nordisk® SOPs. External relationships are with clinical trial site staff and vendors as needed to support business objectives for the department and its functions. This role is accountable for actively participating in internal cross-functional teams locally/globally to ensure the effective delivery of assigned project milestones.

**Qualifications**
- You hold a Bachelor Degree in science-related discipline and are looking to start your clinical trials career.
- knowledge of GCP and experience with regulatory documents, core understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial activities in relation to execution of a clinical development plan - a significant advantage
- GCP course is required
- You have strong attention to detail, customer service skills, planning and organizational skills
- You are able to handle multiple priorities and demands and work in a fast-paced environment
- You are fluent in Hebrew, and have good English skills
- You have good communication skills and have a teamwork spirit
