Social Worker

La Vie Care is a private group of Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation hospitals, and Frail Care facilities based in Gauteng. We are looking for a registered Social Worker to assist us at Country Life Retirement Village in Benoni.

Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience in a leading role in a ward.
- Must be registered with the relevant authorities.
- Must perform all duties required in the scope of practice for a Social Worker.
- Must have knowledge of the Older Persons Act

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluations of potential residents at Country Life Retirement Village
- Work with multi-disciplinary team.
- Look after the social and mental health of the residents of Country Life Retirement Village.
- Patient care and counselling.
- Prioritize patient needs and care.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and internal control.

**Requirements**:

- Registered with the Department Social Development
- Must perform all duties required in the scope of practice for a Social Worker.
- Must have knowledge of the Older Persons Act

Able to manage staff

Pay: R18 000,00 - R21 000,00 per month
