**Requirements**:

- Matric, Plus Trade Test Certificate, “Red seal” (Fitter & Turner).
- 2-3 years Maintenance/Fitter experience in manufacturing industry
- PC literacy, MS Office Excel, Word.
- Excellent Communication Skills, verbal and written
- Ability to do fault finding and work on your own.
- Gearbox maintenance, adjustments, Interpret mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
- Knowledge and replacement of bearings, chains and tensioners.
- Leadership behaviors: Foster functional & Technical Excellence, Demonstrate and build functional and technical excellence, Ensure process discipline.
- Communicate clearly, concisely and candidly.
- Believe in skilled and motivated people working together
- Be able to do rotational standby duties.
- Improve quality, safety and sustainability.
- Make sound decisions using facts and data
- Knowledge of using basic workshop equipment, ie. Drilling machines, grinders, sanding machines etc.

Key Tasks:

- Perform any mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and installation on factory equipment.
- Quick response to breakdowns.
- Adhere to safety requirements.
- Responsible for the equipment start up, well-being and uptime.
- Carry out FPS requirements on shop floor level, housekeeping and equipment cleaning.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained and operated properly and safely.
