**Duties**:
Retail Operations:

- Develop and implement a retail strategy to align all store teams behind a clear purpose and strategy to ensure a consistent customer experience
- Ensure that all retail operations activities are consistently executed according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Drive sales within the stores to reach set sales targets
- Ensure that facilities, equipment, tools, systems, security and physical environment is conducive to optimum performance
- Facilitate appropriate technical and functional training for store teams
- Facilitate effective engagement between stores and HO team
- Ensure stocktakes are performed regularly and accurately
- Facilitate all new store openings and refits

People Management:

- Build a store team culture that is inclusive, driven, organized and fun
- Ensure that stores are well staffed and that contingencies are in place
- Ensure role clarity and effective goal-setting with store teams
- Ensure an effective Store Manager talent and succession plan is in place
- Manage the day-to-day operations of rosters, time sheets and payroll administration
- Handle IR and performance issues with HCM

Sales and Reporting:

- Work closely with the Brand Manager to analyse store performance and build a retail strategy
- Manage financial performance parameters
- Set up daily, weekly and monthly store KPI and sales targets, and monitor performance against these targets
- Drive revenue, quantity and margin targets
- Develop and monitor action plan for all under performing stores
- Report on store performance

Marketing:

- Work with marketing and Visual Merchandisers on all promotional requirements
- Key customer relationship management
- Ensure that VM standards are adhered to
- Ensure all stores reflect the correct standards of cleanliness, safety, visual impact and good housekeeping
- Work with HO Marketing to create, implement and manage all regional event related initiatives
- Asses and report back findings from the events held to Marketing team

**Requirements**:

- 3 - 5 years in a similar role
- People management experience
- Flexibility to travel within South Africa
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Excel proficiency

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Retail Operations: 3 years (required)
