What will you do?
Number of allocated workflows to be finalized on a daily basis within SLA
Ensure workflows are valid and attended to within SLA period
Ensure tasks allocated, receive the necessary attention
Identify client needs and problems
Deliver high-level of client experience
Make decisions on complex cases, taking all legal and Treating Clients Fairly (T.C.F.) principles into account
Influence internal stakeholders to manage SEB's risks and to treat clients fairly
Handle all internal and external client enquiries and complaints in a professional manner and provide relevant and timely feedback
Handle all queries and liaise with Assurers to ensure that feedback is given to clients in a professional manner
Resolve and route queries effectively and professionally from/to internal departments
Compile medical underwriting reports when required
Adhering to service and quality standards
Provide feedback to regional account managers and brokers with queries regarding their Sanlam Umbrella business
Establish and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders
Understand and implement the correct updating of medical decisions on workflow
Effective handling of amendments that affect medical underwriting
Personal, telephonic and written interactions with internal and external clients
Communicate underwriting decisions, after assessment by the Assurer underwriters, to external clients
Assist with testing when necessary
Qualifications and experience
Grade 12
3 - 5 years of experience in a retirement fund admin environment
Excellent knowledge of Umbrella & freestanding Funds & underwriting principles
Knowledge of Employee Benefits and processes
Knowledge and Skills Processing transactions and conduct simple calculations Data collection and analysis Record keeping, filing and maintenance of databases Maintain work standards and quality verification Personal Attributes Plans and aligns - Contributing dependently Communicates effectively - Contributing dependently Action orientated - Contributing dependently Optimises work processes - Contributing dependently Core Competencies Being resilient - Contributing dependently Customer focus - Contributing dependently Collaborates - Contributing dependently Cultivates innovation - Contributing dependently Drives results - Contributing dependently Turnaround time
