**Main Responsibilities and duties**:

- Responsible for inspecting and testing products and overseeing operations to meet production and assembly quality standards.
- Tracking products through the process from the raw material to final product.
- Evaluate supplier quality standards and record performance.
- Establishing and recommending strategies to improve safety and quality standards.
- Identifying defects and implement effective controls and methods to improve.
- Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities.
- Making sure processes adhere to safety and quality standards and complying with legal requirements.
- Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements.
- Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and meet requirements.
- Record inspection results, prepare and submit reports.
- Collecting, analysing and summarizing data.
- Measure and produce accurate test records.
- Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products.**Inherent Requirements**

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:

- Matric
- 3-5 years of experience in the industry
- Complete on-the-job-training or have previous experience in quality control.
- Analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents and manuals
- Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations
- Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the organization’s product
- Understanding of company standards
