- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase)
- Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase

**Responsibilities**:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children aged [3 months to 6 years old] in accordance with New Zealand's early childhood curriculum framework (Te Whāriki).
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment to promote children's growth and learning.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and sharing feedback with parents/guardians.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay updated with current best practices in early childhood education.
**Requirements**:
A Teaching Assessment that confirms the above qualification satisfies the core knowledge requirements of a New Zealand initial teacher education program (Early Childhood Education and Primary) (NZQA Recognition Statement).
Current registration with the New Zealand Teachers Council (Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand).
Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Education Teacher.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Creativity, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
