Merchandise Trainee

**We are seeking a Merchandise Trainee to join our team in Cape Town for a 6 month trainee programme. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow quickly in what is a dynamic and flexible online fashion company.**

You will be responsible for assisting our Supply Team with a wide variety of sales campaigns for well known designer brands. This will include administration, coordination, supplier communication as well as ongoing projects designed to give you an in-depth understanding of the in's and out's of being an ecommerce merchandiser.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Supply Team with administration
- Assist with offer coordination
- Assist with supplier communication
- Working with samples: capturing, naming and product descriptions
- Supplier sample returns
- Uploading offers to our site
- Communication with internal stakeholders
- Ongoing projects designed to develop your commercial awareness, innovation and presentation skills

- Computer literate (especially Google Sheets, Docs,Slides and Microsoft Excel)
- Have strong administration and organisational skills
