**Scope and General Purpose of Job**

To assist in the leading of the Lobby Lounge team, ensuring that all operations are done according to Brand Standards and standard operational procedures as well as maximizing revenue and the efficiency of The Lobby Lounge.

**Main Duties**
- **Operational**_
- To ensure that the operating standards for F&B items are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual.
- Co-ordinating the entire operation of the Lounge during scheduled shifts.
- To assist in establishing and ensuring that the par stocks for all operating equipment and supplies are strictly adhered to and that the outlet is adequately equipped.
- To conduct weekly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
- To monitor the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
- To handle guest complaints, requests and enquiries on food, beverage and service.
- To assist in ensuring that the outlet is managed efficiently according to the established statements.
- To assist in monitoring service and F&B standards in all outlet. To work with the

Managers, Assistant Managers and Supervisors to take corrective action where necessary.
- To ensure and monitor all brand service standards at all time
- To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relations.
- To ensure that the outlet cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to.
- To assist in conducting daily pre-shift briefings to employees on preparation, service and menu.
- To monitor staff and guest contact.
- To attend daily operations briefings and F&B meetings.
- To assist in the planning of the outlet weekly roster and work schedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately staffed to handle the level of business within the labor cost budget.

To assist the F&B Manager with submitting the following
- Monthly Outlet Reports
- Holiday Plan
- Monthly Objective review
- Trainers Report
- Time & Attendance Sheets

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Hospitality Training

At least 2 years of experience in Hospitality

Confidence in working independently and part of a team.

Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.

Ability to communicate clearly with Manager and Guests

**System Knowledge**:
Micros

Opera - Advantageous

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
