**Purpose of Role**:

- Our client is looking for a Principal with a fresh perspective and the ability to learn and enjoy a challenge of school that is completely online and paperless.
- Someone with a growth mind-set and the ability to drive marketing and management of teaching teams
- The job duties of the school principal involve overseeing the operation of the online school. Your responsibilities include defining the educational direction of the school and refining school policies and expectations for both teachers and students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day online school operations
- Managing and reporting on budgets
- Set learning goals for students and teachers based on ncurricula
- You may help hire teachers, monitor their performance, and facilitate professional development.
- outreach to increase enrollment and encouraging parental involvement in their child’s learning efforts.
- Ensure that all online educational portals work effectively.
- Research and collaborate with the academic team on new resources and techniques to improve teaching
- Review and implement school policies
- Manage the customer relations, quality assurance and customer feedback process so as to ensure a professional online offering for students
- Provide guidance and counseling to teachers
- Handle emergencies and school crises
- Attend conferences to gain knowledge on current educational trends

**Requirements and skills**:

- Degree in Education; Master’s degree is a plus
- Teaching experience (5 years plus) in the classroom as well as ONLINE
- Attention to detail
- Dynamic and adaptable
- Have the appetite to work in a non-traditional (no brick and mortar) school environment
- Strong customer relations and business development skills
- Be able to wear a number of hats (HR, finance, marketing, ops)
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Crisis management skills
- Strong operations experience
- Proven leadership ability and education management experience
- Ability to coach and inspire
