- One of South Africa's Banking Giants is looking for a Delivery Lead to provide direction and lead IT teams responsible for the full product lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of all product features, support, and maintenance related tasks within the Bank's Operations.

**Purpose Statement**:

- To provide direction to and lead IT teams responsible for the full product lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of all product features, support, and maintenance related tasks within the Bank’s Operations.
- Oversee the ongoing drive to increase efficiency, Optimisation, innovation and people development in these environment.

- Agile product development life cycle

- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management

**Qualification**:
**(Minimum)**
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology - Computer Science or Information Technology - Other major Informatics

**(Ideal)**
- Arelevant qualification
- Any industry recognized or accredited data management or technical qualification. E.g., PMBOK, Agile, Prince 2, DMBOK, AWS

**Knowledge**:
**(Minimum)**
- Software development lifecycle
- Systems development lifecycle
- API Gateway, Lambdas, Kinesis
- NoSQL and SQL Databases
- Applicable regulatory requirements: CPA, POPI, FICA
- Unit testing frameworks

**(Ideal)**
- AWS components and services
- VPC, Elastic cache & Swagger for API definition
- Continuous delivery & continuous integration (CI/CD) - Jenkins, Docker, Amazon Elastic Beanstalk
- Agile product development life cycle
- Front end technologies: JavaScript & CSS

**Experience**:
**(Minimum)**
- 5+ years' experience in Data Architecture or as a Business Information Analyst
- Hands on experience in AWS services
- 7+ years of development experience with deep expertise in Java & REST services
- Async programming, Java IDEs, IntelliJ IDEA, GIT tools (i.e., Atlassian Stash, GIT Command line)
- Experience working in short sprints in an agile SCRUM
- Stakeholder relationship engagement and management
- Organizing and leading technical people for delivery of outputs or objectives

**(Ideal)**
- 2 years or more experience in managing a
- People management agile product development lifecycle
- Experience in the financial or banking sector
