Applications are invited for the above mentioned position to be based at Gqeberha. This person will report to the Production Controller

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

- Preparing and starting equipment.
- Operating equipment.
- Shutting down equipment.
- Changing over equipment.
- Executing first line maintenance.
- Assist with shutdown maintenance duties
- Responsible for Quality checks.
- Ensure QMS procedures are followed.
- Accountability for outputs against production plan (OEE, Waste management)
- Ensure compliance to Health and Safety standards
- Participate actively in workplace improvement activities.
- Ensure that health and safety standards are complied with.
- Actively involved in Mini business activities and Problem solving methodology

A machine controller, while responsible for a primary machine would also be responsible for controlling the above in an area within the packaging hall - which may include a cluster of machines
- Grade 12
- Successfully Completed Machine Controller Programme
- Mechanical aptitude.
- N2 will be advantageous
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a packaging environment.
