Veterinary Nurse

_A wildlife rescue centre is looking for a part-time veterinary nurse._

**The job would include**:
Assisting with treatments, medications, procedures & patient monitoring.

Providing hands-on nursing care to injured, orphaned & rescued wildlife.

Maintaining clinic, medicine dispensary unit & theatre services.

Ensuring high standards of hygiene & facility care.

Performing laboratory tests & assisting with diagnostic procedures as per SAVC regulations.

Keeping accurate medical records & ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

**Requirements**:
Have a passion for animal welfare & commitment to ethical responsible care

Have own accommodation and reliable transport

Previous experience in wildlife care & handling would be advantageous

Applicant must be available to work after hours and on weekends.

Be able to work flexible work hours with focus on wildlife emergencies and intakes.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
