Quality management
- Ensuring all departmental standards and processes have been adhered to (incl. Good Manufacturing Practices, operational procedures, customer complaints and audits).
- Conduct audits as per template and specifications
- Adherence to quality and food safety standards
- Staff training meets quality assurance and foods safety standards and policies
- Finds solutions or makes recommendations in appropriate departments/business areas
- Ability to identify quality versus deviation from standard and takes relevant corrective action
- Demonstrates an understanding of the production / bakery process
- Keeps relevant people accurately informed and up-to-date of both positive and potentially negative information

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Food Technology or Sciences will be an advantage

**Experience Requirements**:

- 2-3year experience in the bakery industry
- Experience in the implementation of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Computer literacy
