**Job description**:
MDW Senior Systems Administrator is part of a team of engineers responsible for maintaining desktop/server environment. The role holder would be working or interacting both with team, and with users in the office or abroad. The working hours are 08:00 to 17:00. Occasional weekend work would be expected.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage various types of medium-to-complex project initiatives, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Application and Operating System life-cycle management including upgrades, patching and off-hours maintenance and change control execution
- Automation of engineered scripted solutions to address configuration issues or desired results.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and analyse issues with Servers, Applications, infrastructure services etc...

**Requirements**:

- Strong Exchange/ Office365 Resource Requirements
- Navigating/Troubleshooting within Citrix
- AWS administration experience
- Experience with VMWare vCenter/vSphere a plus
- PowerShell or similar scripting experience

**Skills / experience**
- Experience: 3-7 years’ experience working with and/or managing employee experience tools
- Domain Expertise: Be equipped with knowledge on deploying and managing employee virtual desktop environment such as Citrix, Microsoft RDS
- Organized and creative: Must be able to respond to tight timelines and have the ability to problem-solve with creative solutions that enhance the employee experience
- Analytical and strategic: Need to be able to use data to generate insights and reports that translate into strategic initiatives to improve processes
- Must have good organization skills to balance and prioritize work and multitask; good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems; and good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
