**Purpose of the position**
- As a Platform Product Manager, will be an integral part of our new platform product team, looking after the product, technology, and software development team to drive business objectives for new product penetration through creation, innovation, and removing impediments to ensure the team members are empowered to create new platform products and features.
- Will be working closely with the product owner and stakeholders to ensure high value increments.
- Will also be facilitating all scrum events with the small product development team, keeping them productive, positive and in timeboxes. You will assist with techniques for effective product goal definition and backlog management.
- As a Platform Product Manager, will be expected to assist with training and coaching the employees and stakeholders on the scrum approach.
- Will also be expected to remove the barrier that generally occurs between stakeholders and the scrum team

**Areas of Responsibilities**:

- Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed
- Facilitating scrum events within the timeboxes with the use of JIRA, Confluence and BigPicture
- Assist with empirical product planning for a complex environment
- Leading training and coaching the organization in its product adoption
- Planning and advising product implementations within the organization
- Assisting the scrum team with understanding the need for clear and concise product backlog items
- Assisting the team members in self-management and cross-functionality
- Creating release notes to be sent out to clients**Inherent Requirements**

**Education & Training**
- Bachelors of Engineering (BEng) or Similar
- Bachelors of Computer Science (Bsc) or Similar
- Certified Scrum Master is a bonus
- UI / UX Qualification is a bonus
- Ability to provide training, documentation, and support
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills across all mediums

**Skills**:

- Experience in Software Product Ownership
- Experience in Logistics Solutions Consulting
- Experience in Systems User Consultation and Flow Design
- Time Management
- Good communication skills

- Confluence
