**Essential Job Functions**

**Responsibility**
- Is responsible for the E2E integration design, strategy, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
- Assists with the governance of the technology selection in the integration domains.
- Provides integration leadership, guidance and support when contributing to solution proposals, RFIs, RFPs, PoCs, and Project Teams.
- Ensures technical viability of integrations as defined in the Statement of Work and subsequent change requests, identifying, resolving, and mitigating integration issues and risks.
- Conducts external and internal design reviews for integrations from a risk and technology perspective.
- Provides design assurance for all interface specifications and ensures overall integration quality across solution components.
- Evaluates and reviews integration test cases, and integration performance test cases.
- Detects critical deficiencies in integration architectures and recommends improvements.
- Provides feedback to the solution engineering team for improvements, market trends and product issues.

**Experience**
- Experience architecting & designing API solutions.
- Experience deploying and overseeing cloud computing and middleware strategies.
- Experience in business transformation projects using cloud technologies, Microservices, SOA, Middleware, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Container Systems e.g., Docker, AWS, Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD DevSecOps Tooling
- Telecommunications industry experience and in-depth knowledge of related products
- Practical experience delivering solutions using modern agile frameworks and methodologies

**Preferred**
- Certified TOGAF Enterprise Architect
- Honours degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering or Computer Sciences

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering or Computer Sciences
- Expert knowledge of API development, critical security concepts and DevSecOps principles.
- Excellent fundamental understanding of integration and data principles, standards, and practices.
- Expert knowledge in API Gateways and Managers.
- Broad understanding of business technology, telecom networks, and data structures.
- Strong design skills with ability to document the designs.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex problems that require complex methods or theories.
- Team leadership skills to exchange ideas and create a common understanding of project work from conception through issue resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills to influence and gain cooperation.
- Ability to suitably adapt communication based on the audience, e.g., technical vs. management.
- Ability to prioritize effectively within and across one or more assignments through good judgement, seeking guidance where appropriate.
- Ability to travel domestic and international for extended duration onsite based on requirements of the project.
- Non-standard work hours may be required and the ability to be on-call.
