**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Guest Experience**:
- Ensure every guest has a warm, personalised and memorable stay
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and special requests
- Manage guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
**Team Management**:
- Lead, motivate and manage housekeeping, kitchen, and grounds teams
- Create staff schedules and ensure smooth daily operations
- Train new staff and maintain high standards of service
**Lodge Operations**:
- Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and catering standards
- Manage stock levels (e.g., cleaning supplies, kitchen inventory)
- Ensure the lodge remains clean, welcoming, and beautifully presented
**Administrative Tasks**:
- Manage bookings, invoicing, and record-keeping
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and report monthly figures
**Marketing & Communication**:
- Assist with social media content (when applicable)
- Maintain good relationships with guests and local partners
**Requirements**:
- Previous hospitality or lodge management experience
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, and remain calm under pressure
- Neat, professional appearance and positive attitude
- Fluent in English (Afrikaans or other local languages a plus)
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
