Social Media wizards, here’s a spectacular opening awaiting your magic touch We have a tremendous Cape Town opportunity for a mid-senior National Social Media Lead at a renowned real estate company.

It is vital that you are super organised, proactive, assertive, and able to project manage. Your solid campaign and project management experience ideally comes from working in a big agency on multiple clients.

Note: This will eventually** **become a hybrid role, but initially you will need to spend time in-office to start.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the company’s Digital Strategy and what role Social Media plays in supporting it
- Delivering a Social Media Standard Operating Procedure guidelines, in support of Real Estate Operations
- Creating the content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, managing them, scheduling posts and reporting
- Work with the agency and in-house designer to brief in and conceptualise all creative artwork required for Social Media
- Responsible for effective audience targeting - whether that is by geo-targeting, demographic and interest-based targeting, custom audience uploads, lookalike etc.
- Once live, optimise the campaign for user engagement, response, conversion throughout the campaign period
- Manage the change request and approval process on campaigns between internal stakeholders
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on deadline and within campaign budget
- Recommend and manage an “always-on” social content calendar and work with closely with PR for relevant content
- Manage any automated platforms via monthly ad set-up and ongoing monitoring and optimisation
- Reporting based on key metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA etc) as well as insights based on results
- Be aware of data privacy legislation
- Assist the Digital HOD with any projects that fall outside of the scope of this Job Description from time to time, in line with business requirements
- Play an active role in strategic and technical support to digital/admin resources in the Offices.

**Requirements**:

- Marketing Degree or equivalent - essential
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop would be a nice to have but not essential
- Recognised as a Social Media specialist, whose area of expertise adds value and promotes the brand’s market leadership
- Proven track record of efficient targeting, remarketing, optimisation, and conversion techniques across a variety of social platforms, and how their results compared to the industry benchmarks
- At least 3 years’ experience in a senior Social Media role, ideally within an agency
- Previous experience working with luxury brands and in a fast-paced retail environment - critical
- Very organised, proactive, and assertive
- Project management skills
- Good campaign and project management experience
- Previous managerial experience
- Previous experience in property or real estate would be advantageous
- Excellent understanding of the SA Social Media landscape
- A solid understanding of Social Media marketing principles and best practice campaign execution
- Proactive - keeping on the pulse of the latest technologies in Social Media and other platforms
- Able to guide and mentor the regional Social Media leads
- Commercially minded with a passion for optimisation techniques to increase conversion
- Deadline driven whilst maintaining quality standards of service and delivery
- Good command of the English language with excellent written communication skills
- Excellent eye for design, including familiarity with design requirements for Social Media platforms
- Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Hootsuite, and Google Analytics
- Excellent knowledge and experience in running Meta/Facebook Business Manager
- Good knowledge and experience of the pros and cons of different FB ad objectives and FB ad formats
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders through a pragmatic style of delivery i.e., Sales, IT, Regional Marketing, Creative Studio, Branch/Franchise Managers
- Knowledge of data privacy legislation and the ability to adapt any Social Media campaign mechanics accordingly.
- Self-sufficient and able to hit the ground running.
