**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

***PURPOSE/MAIN JOB FUNCTION**

Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Data Analyst who:

- has strong data analytics capabilities,
- pays attention to detail,
- delivers work of a high quality,
- can process, manipulate, and transform large volumes of data (1million+),
- perform extensive analysis on data and produce summary results in a visual format to ultimately tell a story using data.

The successful individual needs to be a team player who works alongside others to identify and or contribute to initiatives leading to company success.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Measure and manage the performance across multiple credit products.
- Evaluate and improve business decisions, substantiated by data driven analyses.
- Mentoring colleagues.
- Creating credit strategies.
- Running and improving forecasting simulations.
- Reporting back to management around the credit risk status of the business.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Mathematical / statistical background e.g. B.Sc. Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial Science / Engineering degree.
- 5+ years in data analysis / modelling (not only using Excel, but other tools including SQL / SAS)
- Ability to work with millions of rows.

**Computer Literacy**
- SAS (essential)
- SQL (essential)
- Advanced Excel (essential)

Excel VBA (preferential) / Python (preferential) / R (preferential)
