Scm Specialist: Governance and Compliance

**Main purpose**:To oversee, approve, monitor and control the establishment of frameworks and internal controls for the management, in compliance with PFMA regulations and National Treasury prescripts of the SCM Unit.

**Minimum qualification and experience**:B Degree in Supply Chain Management or Legal or Financial Management or Public Administration or equivalent (NQF 7). 5 years experience in supply chain management, procurement and contract management, of which 2 years is at a supervisory/management level.

**Key performance areas (Include but not limited to)**: SCM Governance and Performance Management. SCM Compliance Performance Management. Supplier Performance Monitoring. SCM Information Management and Reporting. Staff Management.

**Technical skills**:Communication. Contract management. Interpersonal. Negotiation. Presentation. Report writing. Planning and organising. Time management. Relationship management.

**Required knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to)**: Sound knowledge of the PFMA, Preferential Procurement Framework Act (PPFA), BBBEE Act and related SCM legislation. Sound knowledge of Supply Chain Management policies, practices, processes and systems. Sound knowledge of contract drafting. Advanced MS Office proficiency. Attention to detail. Deadline driven. Results oriented. Work under pressure. Self-motivated. Ethical. Customer focussed.
