GLUEING - MACHINE SETTER/OPERATOR **Accountability: Factory Manager**_**J **_**Production Manager** **Machine Maintenance** To repair/ set machine performing complex sequences of operations, and-to undertake specific activities by: 1. Checking customer requirements, and setting machine accordingly. 2. Checking setting and devices and activating corrective measures when necessary. Observing readings on visual displays and initiating adjustments as required. 3. Attending to and undertaking routine maintenance activities on machinery you use. Completing a daily check list as required, reporting on condition and status of parts requiring replacement and or repair. 4. To set up a comprehensive maintenance plan1and adhere to it at all times. 5. To ensure machine is fully operational and complies with ALL safety requirements. Operations: - To familiarize and understand the capabilities of your machine.. - To ensure that the machinery is operating to set standards and is operating at OptimalPerformance Level without compromising quality and safety standards. - Setting up of machines as per standard procedures.Adhere, promote, and continuously improve Management and control systems, as laid down by the Quality Management'. system, namely ISO9001.- Training of new and existing personnel.Effective Interactions with feeders and packers on the machine showing them what the acceptable quality is and quantities to pack. - Ensure that the correct materials are being used and that there is sufficient material to complete the job. - Ensure there is a work ticket, before attempting to run machine': "Do Not Run without a Work Ticket.” - Verify accuracy of Jobs by - ensuring 1st off samples Is checked and signed off by Production - Manager, signed samples must be displayed and be easily accessible during the run. - Ensure that the final conforms to customer specifications as per work ticket anc; Approved sample.Activate counter and run machine, constantly guarding and enforcing both the Quality and Safety standards within the company.Handle all material with utmost care and respect. Safekeeping of all tools, measuring and testing equipment.Log incident reports In real time for action and ensure good shm hand over. - Reporting of all this must initiated by you. **Salary**: R5,454.01 - R24,382.50 per month Ability to commute/relocate: - Mount Edgecombe, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
