**Duties**:
Canteen facilities Hygiene inspections
Food Service contractor document control and verification
Ensuring the food safety guide is adhered to by the catering service provider
Tracking corrective action plans to ensure compliance with safety standards
Monitoring Food Service provider staff to ensure that HACCP principles are followed
Ad-hoc Food services projects relating to food services facility
Stake holder liaison on projects and requests
Audit preparation and participation
Continuous Improvement for own area
**Minimum Qualifications**:
National Diploma in Hospitality Management
And/or Microbiology and biochemistry / Professional cookery qualification
**Minimum Experience**:
3 years experience as a Food Inspector (Canteen)

Diary management
Communication Skills
Report Writing Skills
Knowledge of Food health and safety and South African SANS
Ability to communicate and interact across all organisational levels
Flexibility by taking on ad hoc tasks and projects relating to Food Services quick learner
Understanding Food Quality systems (HACCP/ ISO22000)
Understanding stock management and food labelling.
Operating independently and on own initiative within the field of responsibility
Understanding Pre-Requisite programs for Food safety
Business writing skills in general business correspondence
