For this role, the suitable incumbents will be required to assist the Risk Officer by undertaking or facilitating activities related to the implementation of the plans for managing and mitigating risk in Boxer.
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:
- Relevant National Diploma in Risk Management.
- 3 Years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
- Hands-on experience in risk management, including exposure to IT risks.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a solutions-driven mindset.
- Retail knowledge/experience and lateral thinking skills.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive Business Impact Assessments (BIA’s), engaging with Business Units and covering the IT landscape.
- Evaluate identified risks, consider relevant controls, and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate in the design and development of robust risk management controls & systems.
- Develop thorough Business Continuity Plans (BCP’s) through detailed BIA’s and close collaboration with Business Units.
- Ensure legal compliance by integrating legal requirements into BIA’s.
- Rigorously monitor risk performances by evaluating the efficacy of implemented mitigating controls.
