Sales Supervisor

**Purpose of the Job**:
To ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and the management of sales personnel. Together with this, identifies objectives, strategies, training, promotions and action plans to improve short
- and long-terms sales and earnings.
**Job Objectives**:
**Supervise/ manage staff and Administration**
- Manage the day-to-day activities and performance monitoring of the Account Reps.
- Ensure that daily VIP reports are compiled and addressed.
- Conduct monthly performance/incentive reports with account representatives and discuss any areas of concern or improvement.
- Manage the potential lists and activity conducted by account reps.
- Updating the distribution lists weekly with new customers.
- To ensure all administrative responsibilities are attended to in an efficient manner, including ensuring weekly time and attendance and employee records are complete and submitted to HR.
- Regulate customer compliments and complaints by ensuring that customer requests and complaints are addressed timeously.
- Assistance with ad-hoc administrative functions
- Holds regular meetings with sales personnel as well as with the National Sales Manager.
**Project management**
- Manage and prepare Welcome Project lists for reps, as well as brick allocation and ensuring that Account Reps attend to these customers on schedule.
- Monitor and manage projects ensuring that the account representatives complete their tasks on time.
- Monitor group activity and sales (both internal and external) and address any concerns.
- Collaborates with National Sales Manager to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
- Interprets short
- and long-term effects on sales strategies on operating profits.
**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Grade 12
**Experience**:
**Essential**
- 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a similar role.
**Desirable**
- Experience developing marketing and sales strategies.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
**Essential**
- Strong managerial and supervisory skills
- Exposure and knowledge of the Sales & Marketing field
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen and administration skills
- Strong analytical skills and time management
- Strong organisational skills and deadline driven
