**Job Summary**

As the **Responsible Pharmacist**, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and professional standards. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest levels of patient safety, managing inventory, and supporting smooth, professional pharmacy services.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure full compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations (e.g., GPhC, SAPC, or relevant authority).

**Dispensing & Safety**: Manage accurate dispensing, labeling, and safe storage of medications.

**Patient Support**: Provide expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medications, usage, and potential side effects.

**Team Leadership**: Supervise and guide pharmacy staff, maintaining a professional and compliant work environment.

**Inventory Oversight**: Maintain stock levels, monitor for expiry, and ensure proper inventory control.

**Record Management**: Keep thorough and compliant records of prescriptions, transactions, and stock.

**Operational Control**: Lead daily operations including opening/closing duties and general pharmacy procedures.

**Communication**: Act as the pharmacy’s main contact for regulatory bodies, healthcare providers, and patients.

**Service Enhancement**: Recommend and implement improvements for better service quality and efficiency.

**Who Should Apply?**
- **Registered Pharmacists** with the relevant regulatory authority (e.g., GPhC or SAPC).
- **School leavers** with the necessary qualifications and a strong interest in the pharmacy field are encouraged to apply.
- **Experience in a pharmacy setting** is a plus, but **not mandatory**.
