**Summary of Responsibilities**

The Composite Planner plays a critical role in the production process by developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage composite materials. Key responsibilities include:

- **Project Collaboration and Analysis**: Work closely with design and engineering teams to interpret project blueprints and technical specifications, determining the appropriate composite materials required based on strength, durability, and cost considerations.
- **Material Sourcing and Procurement**: Identify and procure high-quality composite materials from reliable suppliers, ensuring availability and cost efficiency while maintaining compliance with project requirements.
- **Inventory Management**: Develop and maintain robust inventory systems to track composite material stock levels, ensuring sufficient supply to meet production demands without excess.
- **Production Planning and Scheduling**: Coordinate with production teams to schedule manufacturing processes involving composite materials, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to deadlines.
- **Quality Control and Compliance**: Monitor production processes to ensure composite materials meet industry standards and project specifications, maintaining rigorous quality control measures.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on material availability, potential challenges, and proposed solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
- **Innovation and Industry Awareness**: Stay informed on advancements in composite materials and manufacturing techniques, recommending innovative solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and project outcomes.

The Composite Planner leverages in-depth knowledge of composite materials, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in project and inventory management tools to support the Production Business Unit’s objectives. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring operational success in a manufacturing environment.
